Engineer / Operator
Bryan Edgar

Bryan's talent for music was prevalent even when he was a
young child. Playing piano, organ and ukuleles from the age of 6, although not
formally taught, he would play by ear and has developed a keen musical sense
from exploring these instruments. Mimicking music on the TV, he learned to trust
his ears and depended on them for his musical direction and identity. At
age 16 he was introduced to the 6-string guitar by a friend who taught him the
first 3 chords to Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. Bryan was instantly
captured by the magic of the guitar. That day he started on his path of a musical journey.
In the early 90's Bryan was writing and recording his own
music with modest home recording gear (4-track). He quickly realized how
satisfying it was to produce and record multi-track recordings and dreamed of
owning his own studio one day. In 2001 he traded the 4-track cassette
based dinosaur recorder and bought the DIGI001 (Digidesign's
24 track computer recording software/hardware) In 02' and 03' Bryan attended MCC for studio recording.
In late 2005 Bryan started his own studio. 3 years later, still going strong, he
is running and managing db Digital Studio .
With his long history in music and performance, Bryan has the
knowledge and experience in music. He is a talented and versatile
studio engineer/producer as well as a seasoned musician with well over a decade
in the AZ music scene. He has a great musical mind, keen ears and a
easy going personality. Bryan is an asset to any client who records at db Digital Studio.
